About me

I’m Marianne, the artist behind Married & Painted!

I’ve been drawing and painting since I could hold a pencil! I studied Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Since graduating FIT, I’ve done a lot of freelance illustration work including live portraits and drawings. This was always the most fun freelance work to me so when I began doing Live Wedding Paintings I fell in LOVE!

I love being a part of the most special day in a couple’s life! Having a live painter is creative, fun, and entertaining for you and your guests, AND when the night is over you have a beautiful keepsake to take with you and have displayed in your home for years to come!
